Meet Amirah Grasty
Amirah is a birth and postpartum doula, creative, and community advocate who has been walking alongside families for five years. Her path to birth work began after becoming a mother and experiencing firsthand the need for more support, love, and presence during the early postpartum period. This realization inspired her to enter the world of doulas and birthwork.
She weaves creativity and holistic practices into her care, using storytelling and wellness rituals to remind birthing people of their power, autonomy, and ability to define their experience—no matter how or where they give birth. Amirah is especially passionate about supporting Black families, restoring joy to the reproductive journey, and honoring the full spectrum of what it means to bring life into the world.
Whether holding space in someone’s home, facilitating workshops, or speaking on panels, Amirah is deeply committed to community and believes that true change begins with care. She is a proud mom who strives to change the world one supported birth, one conversation, and one smile at a time.
