Rooted in Advocacy. Guided by Compassion. Committed to Your Healing.

Healing is not a luxury. It is a birthright. As a Clinical Social Work intern, my work is grounded in advocacy and in standing beside those who have felt unseen, unheard, or overlooked. Under the supervision of Dr. Paigean Jones, I blend therapy with advocacy to address not only symptoms, but the deeper roots beneath them. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change for individuals, families, and communities.

I feel especially called to Maternal Mental Health. Pregnancy and the postpartum season can be tender, disorienting, beautiful, and heavy all at once. I am deeply committed to walking alongside women as they navigate depression, anxiety, identity shifts, and the complex emotional terrain of motherhood. As a mother myself, I approach this work with reverence. I understand the need for dignity, cultural responsiveness, mindfulness, and care during this transformative chapter. You deserve to feel supported, not judged. Steady, not alone.

In our work together, I draw from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, mindfulness based practices, and trauma informed approaches. I aim to be fully present in the room with you, creating a space that is transparent, intentional, and free of conditions. Therapy with me is collaborative. We explore patterns, build skills, and move toward sustainable growth at a pace that honors your story.

Accessibility matters to me. I see clients on an equity based sliding scale, intentionally offering flexible rates to reduce financial barriers and expand access to care. Therapy should not feel out of reach. If cost has ever made you hesitate, I welcome that conversation.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations with a minor in Healthcare Administration, as well as my Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at Tennessee State University and pursuing clinical licensure.

You may also see my name on the Look Aligned blog, where I make regular contributions to provide psychoeducation in an accessible and empowering way. I believe knowledge should feel usable and human, not distant or clinical.

At the heart of my work is this belief: when people are truly heard and supported, they heal differently. They live differently. It is an honor to hold space for that transformation and to partner with you as you move toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and whole.
